JOB SEARCH - How to Guide

Welcome to e4myJob's
Job Search Center!

If you are like most of the people who have lost their jobs recently, you haven't looked for a job in a while. In designing this site, the e4myJob Team made sure we have sections for both those with recent experience looking for work AND sections for those who aren't familiar with the process.

YOUR FIRST STEP SHOULD BE OUR CHECKLIST

Our Checklist contains things you need to do at the beginning of your Job Search Process as well as throughout the Process.

HOW TO FIND A JOB GUIDE

If you HAVE NOT looked for a job and reallly need to understand how it's done now, you should go through our HOW TO FIND A JOB GUIDE. The Guide contains a lot of information in both written and VIDEO format.  You should definitely look at all of it and take it seriously.  The videos contain lots of pointers that you might now have considered.

Chronological Flow

The Guide is written in chronological order.  You should start at the beginning - with the Transition and move on to the Resume, the Interview, etc.

Remember that in this environment, you need every advantage you can have.  And, e4myJob will help you develop those advantages.

Even if you are an EXPERT Review these Resources

Even if you consider yourself an EXPERT, you should still look through this information.  You may find a few things you didn't know.

Once you have a thorough understanding of the Job Search PROCESS, then you should move on to the Job Search Resources.
